Jack and Cindy Kemp founded Greatshot.biz in 2003 and Kemp Portraits in 2006 to share their passion for photography of all types, including portrait, nature, landscape, event and commercial.

Jack began studying photography in the U.S. Navy more than 30 years ago and has enjoyed photography ever since. The birth of his first grandson renewed his passion and inspired him make photography into a new career.

In the past four years he has studied to become a professional photographer through formal courses and on the job training. Jack has attended the Texas School of Professional Photographers at Texas A&M University since 2004 where he has studied with Bruce Hudson of Seattle, Washington, Don MacGregor of Vancover, Suzette Allen of Sacramento, California, and Louise and Joseph Simone of Quebec, Canada.

Jack is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Texas Professional Photographers' Association.
